OpenLM Supported Versions

OpenLM Version 21

Dear customers, OpenLM users and OpenLM administrators,

OpenLM has worked hard for many months to bring you the brand new OpenLM version 21 with new features, multi-platform support, industry-standard security support - a version that takes OpenLM to the next level.

In order to continue to provide a high quality product and associated support, the OpenLM team needs to ensure that they focus their resources strongly. For this reason, OpenLM would like to let you know which versions will be supported in the future.

Which OpenLM versions will still be supported in the future?

From 1 April 2022, the oldest OpenLM version that will continue to be supported by the OpenLM support team will be: OpenLM version 5 Update 6, running with MariaDB, MySQL or MS SQL.
OpenLM versions lower than version 5 update 6 and OpenLM version 5 running with Firebird are no longer supported.

From 1 April 2022, OpenLM version 5 Update 6 will no longer receive updates, bug fixes and hotfixes, only the newer versions will continue to be updated.

OpenLM is aware that this is a significant step, which is why they are announcing this decision 9 months in advance. OpenLM would like to give all their and our customers currently running older OpenLM versions or OpenLM with Firebird as the embedded database sufficient time to upgrade.

OpenLM and we would also like to thank you all for your continuous support and faith in our product. The OpenLM team is working hard to move OpenLM further with each release.
